Blending synthetic and taiko-inspired drums with distorted samples and creeping atmospheric textures, Hollowed Ground strays away from the dancefloor sounds of the previous Lockhart release and moves into darker, more cinematic sonic territory. Where previous Lockhart releases leaned closer to techno-aligned genres, Hollowed Ground falls closer to a traditional industrial sound.

Hollowed Ground is a exploration of the anxiety, isolation, danger, and uncertainty that comes from having the world turned unexpectedly upside-down.

The Hollowed Ground EP is the 4th release from Lockhart.

This is a triumph! So hard to pick just one track when each song is better than the last. Klack has really just got a great sound that can be successfully remixed into just about anything. Personally I think the first 6 tracks are perfect Ned Michaels
